The ayuntamiento of Albox has announced that the 'Edificio de Usos Mutiples' (multiple use building) that was started thirteen years ago will be inaugurated in September. The building is destined for use as a theatre, concert hall, meeting hall and generally any cultural or leisure activity that the town's residents organise.
There have been several improvements on the original plans, including the design of a seating area and the installation of sound and light systems. Problems with corrosion in the existing metallic structure have also been solved. The completion of the building has needed an extra 400,000 euros on top of the original budget, for which the ayuntamiento has had to request a loan.
