Mojacar Football School Participates in Benalmadena Tournament


THE Mojacar football school took part in the XIII Benalmadena beach tournament In Malaga in the Benjamines and Alevines categories (eight and nine year olds and ten and eleven year olds respectively). It was an exhibition tournament with no no final classification for the teams.


16 schools from Andalucia took part in the Benalmadena tournament froma: Conil de la Frontera, Teba, Rota, Cazalla de la Sierra, Puebla de Don Fadrique, Belmez, La Linea de la Concepcion, Roquetas de Mar, El Cuervo, La Carlota, Alcala de Guadaira, Arahal, Coria del Rio, Cabra, Antequera and Mojacar.


As well as taking part in the competition the children were able to visit the Tivoli World theme park as areward for their work.


Juan Fernández, the coordinator for sporting activities, said that the tournament was a reward for all the effort the children have made throughout the year, and thanked them for their exemplary behaviour during this championship.
